Ebert Finalist In Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge

ISOC Duluth 2011-2786

Team Arctic snocross program manager Dan Ebert has been named one of 18 finalist in the Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge. Before taking over the helm of Cat’s snocross program, Ebert had a brief but notable career as a racer, scoring an X Games bronze in 2009 and an I-500 cross-country win in 2010.

Ebert is an accomplished dirt track racer with over 140 wins in seven states and spent last summer working for touring late model star Jackie Boggs, while also competing part-time at special events throughout the southeast. In the past, Ebert has raced multiple classes at the same event, often times as many as four nights per week.

The Ebert family has a long history in stock car racing, including ties to NASCAR legends Dick Trickle and Rusty Wallace and it is no secret that a career in auto racing has always been a serious consideration for Dan.

The Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge is put on in conjunction with Michael Waltrip Racing, with finalist taking part in 3 day challenge coached by MWR drivers, Clint Bowyer, Danica Patrick and Waltrip. The winner will receive additional training and driver development opportunities in the MWR program.
