The Benna Ford Roush Superior Watercross Shootout was definitely one to watch this weekend as rough waters and cooler weather made for great racing and even greater finishes. The race site located on Barkers Island in Superior, Wisconsin offered a great location that allowed easy access to food venders and parking for the fans.

Racing this weekend was anyone’s game as the rough waters on Sunday left a few of the top riders watching the last laps of their finals. It opened the door to a few racers that had yet to see the podium this season. With a five week break until the final stop at the BIR Wet N’ Wild Fall event and rumors of a Strub and Fischer showdown in drags, BIR could prove to be one of the best events for racing the IWA has seen in a long time.
