Breaking News – Kody Kamm Out For Season

SnoX365 just confirmed with Hentges Racing team owner Nate Hentges, that star racer Kody Kamm is scheduled to undergo surgery on Thursday and will be out for the remainder of the 2016 AMSOIL Championship Snocross season.

Kamm held a comfortable lead in Saturday night’s Pro Open final with three laps remaining when his sled kicked out from under him, launching off the track. Kamm suffered a dislocated shoulder that was able to be put back in place at the track, but further evaluation this week revealed a fracture at the top of the humerus bone. All soft tissue surrounding the joint checked out good, which is a positive sign for long-term recovery, but the decision was made to have the bone repaired now.

Kamm’s Pirtek/Polaris teammate Petter Narsa will continue to carry the load for the team and is coming off his best weekend of the season, finishing with two podiums in the Pro Open class.
